In the midst of Covid-19 Lockdown, the old website mcd.propertytax.gov.in has been shifted to new domain mcdonline.nic.in with effect from 8th May 2020. This New portal is currently active only for SDMC and NDMC (i.e. South MCD & North MCD ) respectively and the EDMC department works from old portal / or website, however a link is also available on New portal.

Steps for filing MCD property tax are as follows:

Open New Website - mcdonline.nic.in
1. Select SDMC/ NDMC as per jurisdiction
2. Go to online services - Then Property tax

Firstly you have to do signup / Registration ( citizen login) to search or fill your Property and Property tax

After Sign Up, Login to your account

Click search UPIC

Then you have 3 options to search your property

Search property through UPIC or Property ID
or
Receipt No. Of Tax paid and year of Tax Paid
or
Colony and Owner Name

Then go to Actions and Click here to use Property to file Property tax

Then file your property details, fill your owner details, (After file your owner details, click (Add button)

After that, you have an option to save your form details as draft, otherwise you Can submit your form

Then click Calculate Property Tax Details

After that you have option to pay tax by clicking on pay tax.

You can save the calculation details by using Download Pdf option (if you required) then click to Next

Pay your Property Tax, using Axis Bank or other options. Net banking, Debit / Credit Card.

To print or Download your Payment Receipt)

Click Actions ---> Property Tax Payment Details ---> Download Property Tax Payment Receipt
