General Information

The Delhi Development Authority has launched its 46th Housing Scheme “AAWASIYA YOJANA 2017” for allotment of about 12,000 Built-up Flats for the General Public. These Flats are spread across various locations in Delhi with the highest number of Flats available at Rohini Sec-34 & 35 (4300 approx.) About 10,000 Flats are for the Lower Income Group. The Flats range from One BHK Janta Flats to Three BHK HIG Flats.

Submission of Applications will be both ‘On-Line’ and ‘Off-Line’ mode, through eight empanelled Banks. The draw of lots will be conducted ordinarily within 3 Months from the closing of the scheme.

For the first time, the DDA has linked its Awas Yojana- 2017 with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (urban) under the CLSS (Credit linked Subsidy Scheme). This means that all successful allotted can get subsidy on the interests, if Loan is availed for financing the cost of the Flats under the PMAY-HFA scheme. For availing such subsidy on the Loan interest, DDA has empanelled designated Banks & Housing Finance Companies under the scheme, subject to terms & conditions.

Scheme Highlights :-

- About 12000 Flats of different categories and in different locations are on offer. The allotment of Flats would be on ‘Free Hold’ basis.
- 793 Flats are of ‘Old Stock’ which have been restored & their cost has been reduced keeping in mind depreciation value.
- To have a look and make assessment of the locality/flat, applicants can visit the locality/flat within a specified period/time, before applying under the Scheme.
- Payment to be made within 90 days from date of demand without interest.
- Benefit of Interest Subsidy in case of Loan availed under PMAY-CLSS Scheme – for EWS/ LIG and MIG Flats only.
- Maintenance of Common Services & Areas in the Building/ compound by DDA for 30 years, for which it will open separate Bank Accounts.
- Modernised Pre-fabricated Technique used for Construction and conforming to International Green Building Code norms which reduce the carbon footprint.
  • Janta Flats Cost range between – 7.08 Lakhs to 13 Lakhs
  • HIG Flats cost – between – 14.50 Lakhs to 30.30 Lakhs
  • MIG Flats cost – between – 31.50 Lakhs to 94 Lakhs
  • HIG Flats cost – between – 54 Lakhs to 103.92 Lakhs

Scheme Starts - 30.06.2017
Scheme Closes - 11.08.2017
Tentative Draw of Lots - Within 3 Months from the date of closing of the scheme

Who Can apply / Eligibility

- Any Indian Citizen who has attained the age of 18 years can apply.
- Pan Card is a must to apply.
- However, amongst the Delhi residents only those can apply who do not own any Flat or Plot in Delhi/New Delhi either in their own name or in the name of their spouse and dependant relations including unmarried children.
- One Person can submit ONLY ONE APPLICATION – either in his/her Own Name or as a Joint Applicant.

Process of Application

Anyone interested in the Scheme can apply Online or Manually by filling up the Form. If anyone applies Online, he needs to fill the Online application Form and pay the earnest money along with Cost of Application online.

In case of Manual Application, one can obtain the Application Form from DDA Counter at Vikas Sadan or 9 designated Banks. The Cost of the Form and the Brochure is Rs. 200/-. You may get the Form from these Banks:

For Submission of Manual Forms, you may deposit it at any one of the designated Bank Branches along with requisite documents like Copy of Pan Card, address proof and Earnest Money as below.

Application / Earnest Money - to be made by way of single Banker’s Cheque / Demand Draft of any Bank drawn in favour of “DDA Housing” payable at Delhi / New Delhi.
